As a participant of the Sea Cadets, Patrick was asked to help out on board the USS Missouri as it returns to it's pier. The ship was in dry dock being repainted and repaired. He had to miss school for this event, but I thought it would be OK seeing as it was an opportunity that he will speak about for years to come! Here are a few pictures of the ship as it was docking and then later pictures of Patrick with other cadets. He was very exhausted when I picked him up and I don't blame him. It was pretty warm out that afternoon.
