Life by: Patrick Filler

Patrick has been studying poetry in school and really has enjoyed it. He has written quite a few of them himself. Here is his newest one.

Life

I am but a leaf blowing wherever the wind takes me.
If I stayed in one place too long, I would be but a stone.
But suddenly the life of a stone does not seem so bad, less goodbyes, less moving and less time alone.
But I remain a leaf until the day comes when I can make my own choices, I only wish I could make up my mind.
