Our Second Day in Kauai

We spent part of the day driving around sight seeing and we also found a nice beach to take the kids to! We drove through 2 small towns, Koloa and Po'ipu. In the town of Po'ipu, we found the spouting horn blow hole. This one is way bigger than than one on Oahu, or at least it seemed that way. Then we stopped at a beach on our way back. We enjoyed this little area. I tried to snorkel, but the current was pretty strong, kicking up the sand, which made it hard to see at times. In the Old town of Koloa we went through a street that was lined with eucalyptus trees. That was really pretty. Once in the town we did a little shopping and we were able to find St. Raphael's Catholic Church. It was built in 1841. It is the oldest church on the island. We then headed back to the cabin to shower and relax. Once on base, we saw a cool rainbow, we had to get a picture of that. After dinner, we went for a stroll along the beach to watch the sunset! We had another full day of fun and adventure!
